Home Tour to Feature Three homes Designed by Kendall Furniture

You don’t have to find a real estate agent or scour the web to take a sneak peak at some of Ocean City’s premiere homes.
Each year, the Sand Castle Home Tour allows community members to view ten resort homes and have their questions answered about the house and its features.
This year, three of the tour’s ten homes will feature interior designs from Kendall Furniture’s Adele Zaniewski.
This will be the forth year Kendall Furniture’s design services have been featured in the Sand Castle Home Tour.
Adele said each of the three homes she designed this year has its own personality.
The first, located on Bayshore Drive, is the bayfront townhome of Peter and Linda Roskovich.
The unit, recently featured on HGTV’s “Beachfront Bargain Hunt: Renovation”, showcases an open-concept living area, spacious master bedroom and sweeping views of the bay.
Adele said the team at Kendall Furniture rose to the challenge to accommodate the show’s filming schedule and the family’s style.
“We didn’t have a lot of time for that house,” she said. “Time was of the essence. It all came together. Everybody at Kendall’s helped to put it together. Teamwork is definitely what is was.”
The second home, located in Sunset Island, is a Nantucket-style home with gray walls and turquoise and lime green accent colors with the ability to sleep sixteen comfortably.
Adele said the owners, Mike and Kim Curcio, wanted the space to accommodate their blended family.
“They don’t come often, but when they come the whole family comes,” she said. “The house is huge.”
The third home, located in the Indigo condominium complex, is a midtown, oceanfront penthouse with a contemporary style.
Adele said the owners, Mike and Debbie Cocco, worked with artist Chris Klink to add hand-painted designs to the penthouse’s walls.
“The painter transformed this house,” she said. “It was the icing on the cake in this house.”
Adele said each of the three homes on the tour offers a place for owners and their families to reconnect.
“All three couples are very family oriented,” she said. “Everyone said the same thing, that they want place where kids can come and enjoy themselves.”
Those wishing to see Adele’s interior design services, as well as other homes along the tour, can purchase tickets online from the Art League of Ocean City or by calling 410-524-9433.
The self-guided home tour will be held Sept 22 and Sept. 23, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets cost $30 per person. Proceeds from the Sand Castle Home Tour will benefit the Art League of Ocean City.
